About 123 Eglinton Avenue EEglinton Place

Just steps from the centre of midtown Toronto, Eglinton Place at 123 Eglinton Avenue East is the ideal solution to those in search of an urban home without having to deal with living in Toronto’s hectic downtown core.

Built in 2001, Eglinton Place is just steps from a plethora of popular theaters, bars, restaurants and shops, while this vibrant urban action is perfectly balanced by surrounding quiet residential streets. Plus, with all of the new buildings and retail projects popping up around Yonge and Eglinton, it’s no wonder why so many prospective buyers have been interested in the area surrounding as of late.

The building features a distinct façade of yellow brick, a beautiful lobby with high ceilings, and a lengthy list of amenities, including a parking garage for guests and visitors, concierge and security services, an outdoor pool, a gym, sauna, and media room, and rentable suites for guests. And to top it all off, pet lovers will be happy to know Eglinton Place is a pet friendly building.

    The Suites

Standing at 18 storeys tall, this posh high-rise condominium holds 183 units. These homes range in size from around 600 square feet to over 3,000 at their most opulent. Most of the Toronto condos for sale at 123 Eglinton East feature balconies, while suites on the uppermost floors boast large outdoor terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding neighborhood. Floor plans and layouts at Eglinton Place come in a variety that should suit all needs and tastes: there are options for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes, while some boast additional powder rooms or dens.

Large windows and open-concept spaces give units a bright and spacious feel, while sleek cabinetry, high ceilings and stylish finishes truly make these condos feel like home. Units come complete with tiled kitchens and bathrooms, along with plenty of elegant hardwood flooring, as well as options for carpeted bedrooms. Kitchens also feature stylish islands, great for serving anything from quick breakfasts to large pot-luck dinners.

    The Neighbourhood

There are no shortages of things to do, see, eat, and drink around Yonge and Eglinton. Residents of 123 Eglinton East are in luck, as the building is only a 5 minute walk away from this bustling intersection. Of course, Mt. Pleasant Road is also near Eglinton Place, bringing its own charm and variety that residents are welcome to take advantage of.

With access to Yonge, Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant, residents have their choice between several grocery stores to shop at, as well as dining options: whether one is in the mood for pho, fusion, tapas, burgers, indian, or anything you can think of is close at hand. In terms of entertainment, residents might opt to check out either of the two movie theaters at the corner of Yonge and Eglinton, or a special night out might involve a visit to the Absolute Comedy Club, a popular joint for jokes and drinks.

Despite being such an urban area, residents have access to plenty of green spaces as well. Small parkettes dot the area, but the crown jewels are definitely Eglinton Park, with its hockey rink and baseball diamond, and Sherwood Park, great for walking dogs or jogging through ravine trails.

Many schools are nearby as well, such as North Toronto Collegiate, Northern Secondary, John Fisher, Marshall McLuhan Catholic School, St. Clements School, Pattison High School and Eglinton Junior Public School. Quite a number of daycares also cater to the area, as does the Northern District Public Library, just a minute south of Yonge and Eglinton.

    Transportation

Getting around town for residents of Eglinton Place is no problem at all. TTC buses make stops on Yonge Street, right outside the building’s entrance, plus the Eglinton Subway Station is just a 5 minute walk west. As well, the expanding LRT system along Eglinton will offer even more access to the rest of the city in the near future.

Car owners at 123 Eglinton East can access the Don Valley Parkway by way of Bayview Avenue, or they may reach Allen Road via Eglinton Avenue West. Alternatively, a quick drive north along Yonge Street allows a driver to reach the 401 in no time.
